25 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Transport if the Government remains committed to the introduction of regulations regarding the maximum height of commercial vehicles; when he expects that the regulations will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27844/03]

Preparation of draft regulation to provide for maximum height of vehicles is at an advanced stage in my Department. I expect to be in a position to publish the draft regulations and to invite comments from the public within the next few weeks.
