Vol. 575 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ambulance Service.

David Stanton

Question:

126 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine the possibility of permanently basing an ambulance in Cobh, County Cork; if he will report on the position with regard to ambulance services in Cobh; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28524/03]

Responsibility for the provision of ambulance services in County Cork rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
