298 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources when the independent consultants review of the licence process will be concluded; and the way in which it will affect the ongoing review of the Joint Oireachtas Report No. 5. [29654/03]
The report of independent consultants is the first part of the review. It is expected that the consultants will have completed their report in early 2004. The report will take into consideration the findings set out in the Joint Oireachtas Report No. 5.
The ongoing work of the Oireachtas joint committee is a matter for that committee.
