My Department currently employs a total core authorised number of 734 whole time equivalent posts. Breakdown by county is as follows: Carlow – 1; Cork – 30; Donegal – 33; Dublin – 541; Galway – 10; Kerry – 17; Kilkenny – 1; Limerick – 3; Mayo – 21; Offaly – 1; Roscommon – 1; Sligo – 1; Tipperary – 2; Wexford – 72; total – 734.
