225 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will direct the SWAHB to agree to a doctor's recommendation that a stair-rail be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 on urgent medical grounds. [30516/03]
As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Dublin 8 area rests with the South-Western Area Health Board operating under the aegis of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
