Question:265 Mr. Murphy asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the status of an application to install three phase electricity made on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [30358/03]

Under the terms of the scheme small companies/businesses in CLÁR areas, who have received assistance from either the county enterprise board, Údarás na Gaeltachta or the local Leader group since 1997, are eligible for aid. The nature of the assistance can be financial, training, mentoring or general advice.
The person in question was informed on 2 October 2003 that as he did not meet this requirement, he was ineligible for grant aid.
