Vol. 577 No. 1

Written Answers. - Disabled Drivers.

David Stanton

Question:

126 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Finance if he has carried out a review of the disabled drivers and disabled passengers (tax concession) regulations 1994 and of section 92 of Finance Act, 1989; the changes he has made or intends to make as a result of such a review; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30639/03]

As I have said in a reply to a previous parliamentary question, the interdepartmental report of the review group on the disabled drivers' and disabled passengers' (tax concessions) scheme is under consideration in my Department. Recommendations in this report will be examined. The report is a substantive one and needs to be studied carefully. On completion of this process, I envisage that the report will be made available publicly.

Question No. 127 answered with Question No. 25.
