Question:

190 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 282 of 25 June 2003, the position regarding this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31794/03]

The Roscommon towns and villages sewerage scheme, of which Ballyleague is an element, is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2003-2005 to commence construction in 2005.

As indicated in the reply to Question No. 282 of 25 June 2003, my Department has approved the brief submitted by Roscommon County Council for the appointment of a client's representative to prepare a design review report and tender documents for the scheme.
