I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan - to discuss the situation regarding lung cancer in Ireland; (2) Deputies Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin, Kathleen Funchion, Gerry Adams, John Brady and Pat Buckley - to discuss progress since ratification in delivering the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; (3) Deputy Pearse Doherty - the need for the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to state if the appropriate consultation with all relevant staff and personnel of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, NPWS, was undertaken prior to the formal introduction of the most recent revision to the policy and standard operating procedures on firearms and ammunition in the NPWS; (4) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the urgent need to address the funding deficit for drugs and alcohol task forces and the pay structures for staff; (5) Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin - the funding required for a second bridge in Newbridge, County Kildare; (6) Deputy Aindrias Moynihan - to discuss the need to upgrade Crossbarry wastewater treatment plant; (7) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd - to ask the Minister if urgent funds can be made available for drug addiction services in Drogheda following on from the recently publicised crisis that has led to such worrying events in Drogheda and required a significant Garda response; and whether the Minister will outline if an emergency meeting can be held to assess and plan an urgent outreach response to curb the rise in drug addiction in the Drogheda area; (8) Deputy James Browne - the need for the Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation to discuss the rise in unemployment in the south east; (9) Deputy Mary Butler - to discuss the initial funding announcement for the north quays project in Waterford; (10) Deputy John Lahart - the implementation of Operation Open City all year around to tackle the year-round traffic congestion in Dublin city; (11) Deputy Louise O'Reilly - to ask the Minister to discuss protests against an educational meeting on abortion services at University Maternity Hospital, Limerick; (12) Deputy Brian Stanley - the funding needed for a new building for Kolbe special school, Portlaoise, County Laois; (13) Deputy Clare Daly - to discuss recent reports of illegal and bogus adoption registrations; (14) Deputy Mick Barry - the privatisation of Bus Éireann routes; (15) Deputy Mick Wallace - to discuss the publication of the original Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement, ODCE, report on the collapse of a trial (details supplied); (16) Deputy John Brassil - to ask the Minister of State with responsibility for disability issues if he will reconsider the current school leavers process, with special attention to the application process and allocation of funding for adult service placement; if action will be taken to provide autism-specific adult services which are currently in high demand but unavailable in County Kerry; and the steps he will take to increase full-time adult day services for students transitioning from second level to adult day services in County Kerry, given the shortfall in service provision; (17) Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett - the dispute between teachers and management at Grafton College; (18) Deputy Gino Kenny - increases in Dublin Bus fares; (19) Deputy Bríd Smith - the need for the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to state if the appropriate consultation with all relevant staff and personnel of the NPWS was undertaken prior to the formal introduction of the most recent revision to the policy and standard operating procedures on firearms and ammunition in the NPWS; and (20) Deputy Billy Kelleher - to discuss transport needs in the greater Cork metropolitan area. The matters raised by Deputies Wallace, Maureen O'Sullivan, Kelleher, and Ó Caoláin, Funchion, Adams, Brady and Buckley have been selected for discussion.
