Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Pat McAuliffe - to discuss the current condition of the building occupied by Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin.

Deputy Aindrias Moynihan - to discuss the need for Irish Water action on Ballingeary wastewater.

Deputy Dessie Ellis - to discuss incorporating the suitability test in the national car test, NCT, for SPSVs.

Deputy Colm Burke - to discuss why a large percentage of home loan applications to local authorities are being refused.

Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the lack of clarity for the bereaved of nursing home residents in east Cork who died in the pandemic.

Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss the need to make a decision to name the new national children's hospital in honour of former Deputy, Dr. Kathleen Lynn.

Deputy David Stanton - to discuss compensating houses and businesses due to ongoing boil water notice on Whitegate public water supply in County Cork.

Deputy Chris Andrews - to discuss the increase in housing developments in exemptions from Part V social housing obligations in Dublin.

Deputy Martin Kenny - to discuss the provision of respite services and long-term residential care for people with disabilities in County Leitrim.

Deputy Peadar Tóibín - to discuss the technologies and methods used as part of the Garda vetting process.

The matters raised by Deputies Aindrias Moynihan, David Stanton, Martin Kenny and Peadar Tóibín, Paul McAuliffe, Pat Buckley, Colm Burke and Chris Andrews have been selected for discussion.
