Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputies Darren O'Rourke and Johnny Guirke - to discuss the imminent risk of job losses at (details supplied).

Deputy Paul Murphy - to discuss apartment and duplex defects.

Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn - to discuss the allocation of funding to schools with a large intake of students from refugees or asylum-seeking families, post-September.

Deputy Marc MacSharry - to discuss whether the Minister reaffirms the Government commitment to upgrade the N17 national primary route in line with Government policy as set out in the National Planning Framework and Ireland 2040.

Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - to discuss the current crime prevention resources available in Mahon, County Cork.

Deputy David Stanton - to discuss the Government response to projected sea level rise as a result of global warming and glacier melting.

Deputy Jackie Cahill - to discuss the EU proposals on land restoration and rewetting and its potential impact on Irish farms and Irish farm families.

Deputy Ciarán Cannon - to discuss expediting the publication of the all-island rail review to allow the development of rail and cycleway infrastructure in east County Galway to proceed.

Deputy Gino Kenny - to discuss the issue of pay rates for workers in the childcare sector and the campaign by trade unions to increase the pay rate to €15 per hour.

The matters raised by Deputies Darren O'Rourke and Johnny Guirke, Paul Murphy, David Stanton and Jackie Cahill have been selected for discussion.
