Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Jennifer Whitmore - to discuss the possibility of refusing licence applications for the 2023-24 hare coursing season.

Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the continued and long running boil water notice in east Cork and the need to resolve the issue permanently.

Deputy Brian Stanley - to discuss primary school places in Portlaoise.

Deputy David Stanton - to discuss the need to ensure that every prospective second level student in east Cork has a school place this September.

Deputies Marian Harkin and Michael Fitzmaurice - to discuss the lack of emergency surgical services in CHO 1.

Deputy Thomas Gould - to discuss the need to progress plans for a northern ring road in Cork.

Deputy Pauline Tully - to discuss how to prevent the closure of the Irish Wheelchair Association service in Cavan.

Deputy Violet-Anne Wynne - to discuss CAMHS accommodation in County Clare.

Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn - to discuss the impact of the introduction of SI No. 315 of 2023 on the Irish fishing industry.

Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - to discuss what steps the Minister for Health is undertaking to address the shortage of GPs in the west Cork area.

Deputy Matt Carthy - to discuss the need for a public inquiry into the death of Shane O’Farrell, and the actions of State agencies before and after.

The matters raised by Deputies Jennifer Whitmore, Marian Harkin and Michael Fitzmaurice, Christopher O'Sullivan and Pat Buckley have been selected for discussion
