This section reenacts existing law in accordance with the committee's recommendations. It allows a creditor to petition for the adjudication of any one or more members of the partners of a firm in respect of a debt due by the firm and the court may dismiss the petition against any one or more of the partners without affecting the validity of the petition as against the remaining partner or partners.
