FACILITIES FOR NEW INDUSTRIES.

CATHAOIRLEACH

The following motion stands in the name of Senator Barrington:

"That the Seanad is of opinion that the Government should at an early date provide up-to-date facilities to induce manufacturers to establish new industries in the neighbourhood of the Shannon Power Electric Station, to absorb some portion of the current as soon as it is available."

This motion stands over sine die. The House is adjourned until further notice.

The Seanad adjourned at 7.40 p.m.
