Vol. 20 No. 14

Question on Adjournment.

I have to inform the House that Senator Counihan has given me written notice, under Standing Order 24, that on the motion for the adjournment to-day he proposes to bring forward for discussion the serious inconvenience and loss caused to exporters of live stock by the refusal last night at the North Wall of veterinary officers of the Department of Agriculture to remain on duty for the purpose of inspecting live stock which were due for export and were known to be in transit.
