Private Business. - Local Government and Public Health Provisional Order Confirmation Bill, 1941—Second and subsequent Stages.

I move that the Local Government and Public Health Provisional Order Confirmation Bill, 1941, be now read a Second Time. The purpose of this Bill is to confirm the City of Dublin (Extension of Boundary) Provisional Order, 1941, which was made by the Minister on a petition presented to him by the Corporation of the City of Dublin, that the existing city be extended by the inclusion therein of the portion of the townland of Crumlin described in the order. The corporation desire to be in a position to provide meals under the Education (Provision of Meals) Acts in the schools situate in the aforesaid area.
