It might be as well to explain that it has been more or less agreed between the various sections that the House should continue to sit until it finishes the Rent Restrictions Bill to-night. In regard to Senator Duffy's motion, it has been agreed to take it if there is time, in so far as the Senator would make a statement and the Parliamentary Secretary would reply, and that the House should continue to sit, not later than 10.30 p.m.
Business of Seanad.
I think that is a reasonable proposal, that the Minister should get the Second Stage of the Rent Restrictions Bill to-night, and that Senator Duffy's motion might be introduced and the Parliamentary Secretary be permitted to reply.
