Vol. 34 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Baxter that, on the motion for the adjournment of the House to-night, he proposes to ask the Minister for Justice if he is prepared to make a statement with regard to the policy of the Government on the question of the admission of aliens, members of the Polish forces in Britain or from amongst the displaced persons in camps in Europe who have a skill and technical training of a type badly required in this country and not possessed by our own nationals. I am accepting that notice. The matter will be taken at 9.30 p.m. or earlier if the proceedings on the Courts of Justice Bill be concluded before that hour.

The Clean Wool Bill will not be taken this week.
