At a meeting of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges this morning the Committee discussed the business to be transacted by the Seanad before its rising for the Christmas Recess.
It was agreed that the Second Stages of the three Bills at present on the Order Paper should be concluded by to-morrow evening. The House will sit to-morrow morning at 10.30 and will continue to sit until that programme has been completed.
Next week the House will sit on Wednesday at 3 p.m., when the Committee Stages of these Bills will be before the House, in addition to any Bills received from the Dáil.
In the following week the House will sit, if necessary, on Tuesday, December 21st, to dispose of all outstanding business other than the motions, which will not be taken until the resumption after the Christmas Recess.
