I move:—
That it is expedient that the Fisheries (Consolidation) Bill, 1952, be referred to the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills and that a message be sent to the Dáil acquainting it accordingly.
In moving that, I would like to pay this small tribute to the work done by the Committee in the previous Seanad. on this Bill. Some of the Committee members are not Senators now and I should like to go on record our appreciation of the work achieved by them up to the time of dissolution.
