Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 6 Mar 1986

Vol. 111 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

It is proposed to sit again on Wednesday, 12 March. On Wednesday it is proposed to take two orders, one in relation to coinage, the 20p piece, and one in regard to winter time. Following that, we will take up Committee Stage of the Air Transport Bill and following that, the Second Stage of the Free Ports Bill. If there is still time available, we will then move on to the Slaughtered and Detained Animals (Compensation) Bill. We will resume on the Private Member's Motion commenced yesterday. On Thursday, at present the proposal is to carry on with a number of other reports from the EC Joint Committee relating to agriculture, the report on processing and marketing of agricultural products, the report on the use of hormones as growth promoters and also, if time is available, the more recent report in regard to the perspectives for CAP, the Commission Green Paper. However, before going to those agriculture motions, it is proposed to take, if there are still speakers offering, the conclusion of the motion that was debated this morning on the report of the Joint Committee on the Irish Language.

The Seanad adjourned at 4.40 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 12 March 1986.
