I have notice from Senator John Connor that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment to allow local authorities an executive function to deploy a greater portion of the national road grant to the repair and renewal of minor roads and county roads network.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 4.30 to 5 p.m., or earlier if the business ordered is completed.
