Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 26 Nov 1986

Vol. 115 No. 1

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Mark Killilea that, on the motion for the adjournment of the House to-day, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works to indicate if the decision to close the Drainage Maintenance Section in Headford, Co. Galway, can be reversed.

I also received notice from Sentor John Connor of the following matter:—

The need for the Minister for Health to indicate his views on the future of surgical services at Roscommon County Hospital in view of the recent report from Comhairle na nOspidéal — Review of Surgical Services in the Western Health Board area, June 1986.

I regard both matters as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Killilea's motion for today's Adjournment. It will be taken when the business is concluded; the time does not seem to be definite yet. Senator Connor may give notice for another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
