Vol. 116 No. 13

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Brian O'Shea that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Transport to outline his proposals in relation to the provision of capital grants for the development of Waterford Airport.

I also received notice from Senator Brendan Ryan of the following matters:

The need for the Minister for Health to ensure that funds provided by him to the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children are used for the purposes he intended.

I also received notice from Senator David Norris of the following matter:

The attendance of Irish diplomats at the official reception for President Waldheim of Austria on 25 June 1987 in the Vatican.

I regard all three matters as suitable for discussion in this House and I have selected Senator O'Shea's motion for this evening. It will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Brendan Ryan and Senator David Norris may give notice for another day. May I have confirmation please from the Leader of the House as to whether we are taking Nos. 2 and 14 together?
