Tuairiscíonn an Coiste Roghnóireachta go bhfuil sé tar éis an Seandóir O Murchú a urscaoileadh ó chomhaltas an Chomhchoiste um Chearta na mBan ar a iarratas féin agus an Seanadóir Norris a cheapadh ina ionad.
The Committee of Selection reports that it has discharged Senator Murphy from membership of the Joint Committee on Women's Rights at his own request and has appointed Senator Norris in substitution for him.
