Vol. 120 No. 8

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Items Nos. 1, 2 and 3 today.

Could the Leader of the House give some indication of the programme of legislation for the remainder of this session?

If the Leader of the House is not prepared to speak I will.

The Senator asked a question and I want to answer it. I am taking down notes before answering.

(Interruptions.)

The Bills I know we will definitely take are the European Communities, CBF, Forestry, Housing, Tobacco, and the Companies Bills. At this stage that is all I know.

Are we being told that the Companies Bill will be completed by the end of this session?

Do we know how many days we are sitting next week?

It is not my intention to state how many days we are sitting next week or what will be completed next week. The Order of Business for today will be items Nos. 1, 2 and 3. I guarantee that next week we will have each of those Bills in the House.

Order of Business agreed to.
