Vol. 121 No. 1

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Patrick McGowan that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The recent establishment of a national road authority.

I also received notice from Senator Philip Hogan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to review the staffing levels at St. John's infants' national school, Kilkenny city, with the purpose of redesignating the school as disadvantaged for the purpose of staffing and to allocate additional staff accordingly.

I regard the matters raised by Senators McGowan and Hogan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment of this House. I have selected Senator McGowan's motion for today and it will be taken from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Senator Hogan may give notice for another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
