Vol. 123 No. 5

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Pól Ó Foighil that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

An gá atá leis go dtabharfadh an tAire Oideachais aird ar dhrochstaid an Chórais Bus Scoile atá ag freastal ar an scoil chuimsitheach, an Cheathrú Rua.

I also received notice from Senator Joe O'Toole of the following matter:

The administration of the payment of cheques to substitute teachers in primary schools and the need to modify it to ensure that substitute teachers are paid promptly and regularly by arranging to have the cheque posted from the Department directly to the teacher.

I also received notice from Senator Pat Upton of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide adequate funding for the Multiple Sclerosis Centre in Bushy Park Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6.

I regard the matters raised by Senator Ó Foighil, O'Toole and Upton as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matter raised by Senator Ó Foighil and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators O'Toole and Upton may give notice another day of the matters they wish to raise.
