Vol. 125 No. 16

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Mary Jackman that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to confer official sanction on Kilfinane Centre, County Limerick.

I also received notice from Senator Patrick Kennedy of the following matter:

The location and development of St. Gabriel's school and clinic in Limerick for the physically handicapped, and the provision of a physical medical service for physically handicapped children on a site adjoining St. Paul's school, Dooradoyle, Limerick, to serve the need of the Mid-Western Health Board area.

I also received notice from Senator Shane Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to hold a public inquiry into any proposed infill and housing development at West Pier, Dún Laoghaire.

I also received notice from Senator David Norris of the following matter:

Following the recent resolution tabled at the European Parliament, the need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to take an active interest in the case of Raoul Wallenberg.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Jackman, Kennedy, Ross and Norris as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matter raised by Senator Jackman and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Kennedy, Ross and Norris may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
