The need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to take effective measures to prevent the use of illegal drugs in beef production in order to protect our beef sales.
I also received notice from Senator Upton of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to request the EC to act in consort with the rest of the international community to prevent the impending famine in Africa.
I regard the matters raised by Senators Costello, Raftery and Upton as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment.
