Before proceeding this afternoon I would like to extend a sincere and a warm welcome to His Majesty King Carl Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden on the occasion of their visit to Seanad Éireann.
Members rose in their places and accorded a standing ovation to the Royal visitors.
