I have received the following message from the President:
I, Mary Robinson, President of Ireland, do hereby inform you that after consultation with the Council of State, I have this day referred the Bill entitled "Regulation of Information (Services outside the State for Termination of Pregnancies) Bill, 1995" to the Supreme Court pursuant to Article 26.1.1 of the Constitution where a decision on the question as to whether the said Bill or any provision or provisions thereof is or are repugnant to the Constitution or to any provision thereof.
