Vol. 144 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Honan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to reconsider the proposed changes in health insurance in relation to psychiatric care.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

The need for the Government to ensure that healthy people carrying abnormal genes are protected against employment discrimination.

I have also received notice from Senator Cosgrave of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to ensure that the job sharing arrangements which exist in the Central Remedial Clinic in Clontarf continue.

I regard the matters raised by Senator Honan, Senator Henry and Senator Cosgrave as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Honan's and Senator Henry's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Cosgrave may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
