Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 25 Oct 1995

Vol. 144 No. 17

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Cosgrave that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to address the problem of delays in the issuing of folios in respect of certain counties by the Land Registry.

I also received notice from Senator Mooney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht to address the public concern at reports that the Office of the Chief Herald of Ireland has been abolished.

I also received notice from Senator Maloney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht to include the Theatre Project in Letterkenny on the priority list of projects to be sent to Bord Fáilte for evaluation from a tourism and economic perspective.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators Cosgrave's and Mooney's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Maloney may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
