I have received notice from Senator Finneran that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to issue a directive to the National Roads Authority, under section 15 of the Roads Act, 1993, which will ensure competitiveness and fair play in the tendering process for major road improvement contracts.
I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
