Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 165 No. 16

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Manning that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will use her influence to encourage IDA Ireland to appoint a resident representative in Taiwan, especially in light of the Government's Asian strategy.

I have also received notice from Senator John Cregan of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Education and Science to restore the integration programme which has been in operation for Traveller children to two Rathkeale primary schools in view of its proven success for both the Traveller and settled communities.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
