Vol. 172 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Browne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to indicate when a decision on the granting of temporary accommodation to Bennekerry national school, Bennekerry, Carlow will be made.

I have also received notice from Senator Quinn of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to ensure budgetary considerations do not lead to the closure of beds by hospitals, as has been reported to be the intention of the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Dublin and others.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
