Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 15 May 2003

Vol. 172 No. 18

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Higgins that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to re-examine the possibility of providing the legal costs sought by the McBrearty family in respect of its attendance at the Morris tribunal, particularly in the light of the recent High Court judgment by Mr. Justice Peart.

I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
