Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Browne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to ensure that the people of Carlow and Kilkenny continue to have local radio until the new radio licensees are in a position to start broadcasting.

I regret that I have had to rule the matter raised by Senator Browne out of order, as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
