Request to move Adjournment of Seanad under Standing Order 30
I wish to move a motion requesting the Adjournment of the Seanad for the purpose of discussing a specific and important matter of public interest that has arisen suddenly. It concerns whether a person who favours injecting potassium chloride into the heart of a late-term foetus-----
The Senator is completely out of order. That is not the motion on which I have ruled. Will the Senator, please, allude to that motion?
-----and who favours abortion for girls under 16 years without parental consent-----
I have given careful consideration to the matter the Senator raised and do not consider it to be one contemplated by Standing Order 30. I, therefore, regret that I must rule it out of order.

I have ruled that the matter is completely out of order.
On a point of order-----
When is it proposed to sit again?
