I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Vincent P. Martin - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the completion of the new school building for Mercy Convent Primary School, Naas, County Kildare.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on plans to introduce an awareness campaign in primary schools highlighting the dangers of vaping and the use of e-cigarettes.

Senator Alice-Mary Higgins - The need for the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to provide an update on the measures his Department is implementing to ensure equitable access to graduate entry medicine courses in the State and, in particular, to ensure under-represented groups have access to such courses.

Senator Sharon Keogan - The need for the Minister for Transport to include the Thurles bypass project in the National Development Plan 2021-2030 during the 2025 review of the plan.

Senator Erin McGreehan - The need for the Minister for Rural and Community Development to make a statement on the allocation of funding to support the rural communities in north Louth that had their roads destroyed by flooding in October 2023.

Senator Fiona O'Loughlin - The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the timeline for the implementation of the recently announced fares determination by the National Transport Authority.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators Vincent P. Martin, Tim Lombard, Alice-Mary Higgins and Sharon Keogan and they will be taken now. All other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
