I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Denis O'Donovan - The need for the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the delays in the processing of SEAI grants.

Senator Fintan Warfield - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on the restitution and repatriation of historic and cultural objects and to provide an update on the work of the advisory committee on the restitution of cultural heritage.

Senator Maria Byrne - The need for the Minister for Social Protection to make a statement on the eligibility criteria for the living alone allowance.

Senator Marie Sherlock - The need for the Minister for Education to establish a system for matching special school and special class availability with demand in post-primary schools.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the current level of dental services available for children in west Cork and to outline his plans to address the waiting list for dental and orthodontic services for children in this area.

Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on plans to reform and expedite the Garda vetting process.

Senator Mark Wall - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the opening and location of a new special school in Kildare.

Of the matters raised by the Senators suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Denis O'Donovan, Fintan Warfield, Maria Byrne, Marie Sherlock, Tim Lombard and Malcolm Byrne and they will be taken now. Senator Mark Wall may give notice on another day of the matter that he wishes to raise.
