I move amendment No. A32t:
In page 64, subsection (1), line 3, after "pilot" to insert "safely".
Where the master of a ship accepts a pilot on board to give his pilotary services, the master should have a duty under the Act to ensure that that pilot can safely board and dissembark from the vessel. I ask the Minister to accept the amendment in order to ensure that responsibility lies on the master.
I accept the amendment.
