I move amdendment No. 19:
In page 36, subsection (2) (b), line 18, to delete "such particulars as may be prescribed" and substitute "particulars".
This essentially tidies up the wording. The revised wording gives flexibility to the Controller to enter particulars on the register which he considers necessary but which may not have been prescribed in the rules.
I move amendment No. 20:
In page 37, subsection (4), line 1, to delete "After giving the prescribed notice,".
I have received last minute advice on this amendment and I am not entirely happy with it as it stands. With your permission, Sir, and the permission of the Committee I will withdraw it and keep my options open for Report Stage. I may table a revised version of this amendment on Report Stage.
