Business of Select Committee.

Apologies have been received from Deputy Moloney who is unavailable this morning and has asked me to take the Chair. Apologies have also been received from Deputy Neville.

This meeting has been convened to consider Committee Stage of the Health Bill 2006. I welcome the Minister for Health and Children, Deputy Harney, and her officials, to the meeting. The proposed time for the meeting is from 9.30 a.m. to 2.45 p.m. I propose that we should suspend for half an hour at 12.30 p.m. Is that agreed?

Can we break between 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.?

Is that agreed? Agreed. I also propose that we meet again at 9.30 a.m. tomorrow, 8 March 2007, until 1 p.m. and from 2.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. if we have not finished our consideration of the Bill. Is that agreed? Agreed.
