I welcome the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to the meeting. This is the first occasion the Minister has attended a meeting of this committee and I hope we will be able to work together. We are discussing a motion on the terms of the agreement between the Irish and British Governments on police co-operation, signed at Belfast on 29 April 2002. Members have been circulated with the relevant briefing documentation on co-operation between the PSNI and the Garda Síochána.
