I beg to move in Sub-section (1):—" To delete all from the word ‘ from ' in line 55 up to and including the word ‘ Act ' in line 56." I think instead of the word " commencement " it should read: " From and after the enforcement," or something like that. Is there an appointed day?
Yes, the word " commencement " does look rather vague.
The proper way to put that would be " on and after the date appointed for the coming into operation."
That will apply with regard to this amendment 62, and also with regard to amendment 63 which is as follows:—" Section 42, sub-section (3), to delete all after the word ‘ expiration ' in line 5 up to and including the word ‘ Act ' in line 6, and to substitute therefor the words ‘ of a date to be prescribed.'"
I will accept that; I think the suggestion is a good one.
Amendments 62 and 63 accepted and passed.
