740 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon has had their appointment for a medical procedure cancelled on three separate occasions at the children's hospital, Crumlin; if the current appointment will be honoured; if he has satisfied himself with the level of cancellation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Roscommon is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.
