690 Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a Garda investigation is being carried out by the health board into allegations of assault (details supplied); when the findings of this investigation will be released; the action that will be taken; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed by the Garda authorities that an investigation into this matter is currently being carried out by Ronanstown Garda station. A file is being prepared for transmission to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
