64 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Finance the progress made to date with regard to the negotiations between the Revenue Commissioners and the authorities in the Cayman Islands with a view to the conclusion of a tax information exchange agreement. [12984/04]
View answerIn response to a parliamentary question on 23 March I stated that first round negotiations between the Cayman Islands authorities and the Revenue Commissioners for a tax information exchange agreement were held in Dublin on 24 November 2003. A second round of negotiations took place on 7 April 2004. A date has not yet been fixed for a further round of negotiations. At this stage it is not possible to comment on their outcome.
